"Superior Iron Man" Don't Even Bother

The more I write these little reviews for comic arcs that absolutely do not deserve any sort of revisiting the more I think about putting in some sort of minimum when it comes to pages/issues. But at the same time I review plenty of independent or smaller comics that are much more contained and just as short, so I suppose I'll forgo any sort of length and just talk as long as I need to. Let's talk about this one.

It just sucks. At least Superior Spiderman, which may be my next read, had a significantly longer leash to do anything. I frankly don't remember much from this era of Marvel other than people doing that clickbait thing where they talk about "Iron Man gave Daredevil his sight back" and that's it. But that's pretty much the only memorable thing about this comic. It's like 8 issues, because it leads right into Secret Wars anyways in which everything gets erased.

What you need to know about this era? It's an "evil" Tony, but in the sense that the only two other superhero's he actually interacts with during this small run are She-Hulk and Daredevil. He's not really evil in the supervillain sense either he just becomes you're run-of-the-mill tech bro to be honest. And in the end? Nothing changes. Pepper is mostly defeated, he re-captures the "old" version of himself that she released to defeat him. The reveal about Happy having another kid is whatever. This run is the exact opposite of judge a book by it's cover. The most interesting part about this run was the new design for an Iron Man outfit, that's it.

Final Score: 30/100

I mean it's not Civil War II  but it just feels pointless. I suppose technically I read Secret Wars yesterday so I could try writing/logging that, but at the same time I don't know, I've read through it a couple times already, and I'm a pretty big Hickman guy so do I really want to go log it down? Especially after how annoying both this and the Civil War II  reviews were to do? Like this comic is pretty pointless, especially because everything resets like immediately after anyways. Absolutely no stakes or consequences.
