"Ninajirachi - I Love My Computer" I Didn't Know I Could Love EDM This Much in 2025

I love this album unabashedly. It took a little bit, and honestly I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it, but it's so good, it's just undeniable. I mean this entire album just scratches an itch I haven't even thought about in years. I remember when I first started developing my own music tastes one of my first loves was dubstep. For better or worse those minecraft intro's stuck with me, and so I'll be the first to say I listened to my fair share of Monstercat. Except one small issue exists, it's kind of hard for me to listen to it now without cringing a little bit. So where should I go to find that same sound, without feeling the same embarrassment for what I used to be? Well hyperpop helps to some extent, but this album really does the trick for me. I'll admit, it's not for everyone, but this is definitely one of those albums you never knew you needed until it showed up. So without further ado, my track-by-track review.

I Love My Computer - Ninajirachi

London Song - 75/100 I'll admit that at first this song didn't really resonate with me even if it was catchy at parts, but once I heard the rest of the album I think it clicked with me.

iPod Touch - 90/100 Easily one of the most accesible songs on this album, but it's just oozing in catchiness. I love the sound.

Fuck My Computer - 80/100 This was also one of those songs I was iffy on to begin with on this album. Hearing it in the flow of the track list made me understand/appreciate it more though, especially with the way iPod Touch just transitions straight into it.

CSIRAC - 50/100 As much as I'd love to say that every song on this album is great in it's own way and brings a unique sound I just can't get into this track. It's too plain in my opinion. I wouldn't go as far to compare it to hyperpop songs that sound like pots and pangs banging to my eras but I certainly wouldn't call this song impressive.

Delete - 100/100 Thirst traps have never sounded better. I just love everything about this song. Even if lyrics typically aren't the strong suit when it comes to this genre, I think the lyrics attached to this song just fit the atmosphere and vibe that Ninajirachi nails down with the album. She just gets it man.

ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ - 85/100 By this point the album has hit its stride so hard that I'm even loving the short little interludes.

All I Am - 85/100 One of the bst songs off of the album. I really don't have much more to say because this song doesn't really have any lyrics. Just listen to it and let it pop off. I really love how this entire album just sounds like you're listening to someone play one long set, this feels like an album put together with care.

Infohazard - 80/100 I get that this sound isn't for everyone, and frankly I'm not even the biggest EDM person out there either, but this album might convince me otherwise.

Battery Death 80/100 I think around this point of the album Ninajirachi really finds her stride with a set of solid songs to help round out the album even if lyrically there isn't much to speak on.

Sing Good - 70/100 You know a part of me feels kind of bad about rating a song where the artist talks about how they struggled with

It's You - 90/100 I was kind of surprised this song wasn't the closer to be honest. The dynamic between this track and Sing Good kind of feel like a great way to end off a debut album, triumphantly declaring yourself as finally being good enough.

All At Once - 60/100 Like we're really going to end the album on this song? I think it manages to pick itself up somewhat by the end but at that point you're just wondering why this song was even included in the first place respectfully.

Final Score: 85/100

This is most definitely one of my favourite albums of 2025, and I say that full of glee and surprise. I didn't think I would still be loving the sound this much this many years later. I also think this album really captures the essence of listening a full live set as well. I remember being so impressed when I first listened to it how this album really only has a couple of pauses with most of the songs melding into each other. It's impressive, and I'm very much looking forward to anything else Ninajirachi might have up sleeve. I mean I knew I loved computers but who knew I could love my computer this much?
